Artists and Scientists on the Visionary Frontier

Santa Fe, New Mexico

The Women’s Visionary Congress (WVC) is hosting two days of conversations
with artists and scientists who scout the frontiers of consciousness.
The gathering will take place at Synergia Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico
from Friday, May 9 to Saturday, May 10, 2014.
The event begins 7 pm Friday evening with a discussion led by
Dr. Michael Bogenschutz of the Heffter Research Institute which is sponsoring
research at the University of New Mexico investigating
psilocybin in the treatment of alcoholism.
Author Joanna Harcourt-Smith will also read from her new book,
“Tripping the Bardo with Timothy Leary: My Psychedelic Love Story”.

On Saturday, May 10th, Yoga Ma starts the day with a yoga class in the Synergia dance studio.
Jean Nichols, founder of the UpCycled fashion project,
will present an Upcycled Fashion Show featuring
affordable one-of-a-kind “clothing with a conscience.”
Requa Tolbert RN will display and discuss her “Stormrider Calling Cards”,
a cosmology of 32 medicine cards.
Filmmaker Gay Dillingham will offer a private preview screening of her new film
“Dying to Know: Ram Dass & Timothy Leary”.
At 8 pm, DJ Sattva Anandawill offer an evening of music and hold expansive space for dancers under the stars.

Requested donations for the event are $25/day or $50 for both days.
Donations can be paid at the door, via the WVC website,
or by check made out to Women’s Visionary Council at P.O. Box 5035, Berkeley, CA 94705.
